Privacy Policy

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance and Your Rights as a User of this Website

As of February 1st, 2022, the following terms have taken affect in relation to our privacy policy and our commitment to data integrity for our clients and website visitors.

Who we are

I am Luke Fitzgerald trading as RightFitz Consulting Limited in Dublin, Ireland; Company number 710528. My website address is: https://www.rightfitz.com.

By accepting our cookies, privacy and site usage policy when clicking ‘accept’ on the cookie notification bar upon visiting our website, it is implied that you agree to our general terms of service outlined below.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

Contact forms and Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Anonymised website visitor data is monitored using Google Analytics and contains no Personally Identifiable Information (PII) inline with current EU GDPR regulation.

How long we retain your data

If you submit details to a contact form, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service which helps with our internal approval process. Only approved comments are published on our website.

Your contact information

Only the contact information you share publicly within our comment section will ever be published on our website. We reserve the right to edit, amend and/or delete any comments published on our site at any time.

Additional information

How we protect your data

All potential client data received by RightFitz Consulting is stored securely online using a secure cloud interface interface with a full log history of all staff and their access history and full system usage audit trails.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the unlikely event that any data breach should occur, we will attempt to notify all affected users within 48 hours of this becoming known to us. We have a high standard of website security and a number of security measures in place to safeguard against such an event but if any breaches occur, our customers will be the first to be made fully aware of the extent and implications of any such breach.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

All of our terms of business and online operations are fully compliant with both Irish and EU law. Should you have any further enquiries about our privacy policy or any aspect of our data protection, retention or usage processes, please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time and we will make every endeavour to respond to you within 24 hours.
